Life at Charter House
Nurturing mind, body and spirit
"It's like living in a welcoming village; friendly people with diverse interests and experiences, continuing lives of participation and commitment."
Residents at Charter House represent many walks of life. Even though you may arrive not knowing a soul, you will find people just like you who live full, active lives and represent a range of occupations.
Variety in all things is essential. Charter House includes an extensive library, programming that includes interesting speakers, computer courses, social events and musical performances. There are opportunities to develop new interests and skills with small and large groups, or to follow solitary pursuits.
But you don’t have to leave the building to access the services, shopping and pursuits that you need and enjoy. You can have your hair cut and styled, get your influenza vaccination, attend a church service, enjoy a wine and cheese party, or schedule a massage — all without leaving the premises.
One of the benefits of living at Charter House is that you are never alone. Staff and fellow residents get acquainted with your needs and interests, as well as your health and well-being. If a concern arises, much like a family, there is always someone who cares.
