Charter House residents do not own their apartment. There are no real estate taxes, assessments or repairs!

Gernerally, no. Charter House residents move into their Independent Living apartment before entering into Assisted Living or Supportive Care. Residents have peace of mind knowing Charter House health care services are available, if they need them.
Is it just Rochester people living at Charter House?
Charter House is home to about 350 residents. Approximately 60% are from Minnesota and 40% have come from all over the country.
